I also paid attention to shadowing and the movement of water. This is one of the many ways I practiced. I also sketched pictures of water I viewed on Google.
I tried different color schemes to see what would enhance the picture before I started painting.

This is a Greek Mythology drawing of Hades recieving Persephone after asking Zeus. Obviously she does not agree with this exchange. I also thought of drawing the after effects where her mother is outraged and commands her back. The last drawing on the bottom left is one of Aphrodite having an affair with her brother and being caught by her husband.
The top and Bottom are 2 that were my favorite. I feel as if my progress with drawing animals has strengthened while taking this class. Also my view of proportions.
